The former Fox home entertainment general manager will oversee worldwide home entertainment distribution and explore digital opportunities.

Doctorow will also oversee the freshly minted distribution alliances with Studiocanal, Lionsgate, Echo Bridge and Alliance. He reports to Miramax CEO Mike Lang.

As Fox home entertainment general manager Doctorow managed MGM Home Entertainment Worldwide. Prior to that he served more than 20 years at Paramount, most recently as president of worldwide home entertainment.
