Joe Carnahan and his A-Team star Liam Neeson reunite in the story of oilrig workers who must battle a rogue wolf pack and sub-zero conditions after their plane crashes into the Alaskan wilderness.

Liddell Entertainment produced the thriller, which also stars Frank Grillo, Dermot Mulroney, Dallas Roberts and Joe Anderson. Inferno handled international sales and that company’s Jim Seibel, Bill Johnson and Marc Butan serve as executive producers.

Open Road’s (CEO Tom Ortenberg pictured) first release will be Killer Elite starring Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert De Niro on Sept 23. The fledgling distributor’s roster includes The Host and Silent House.

  • In a separate development, Open Road has licensed Cinedigm’s theatrical distribution system as the platform to manage “key aspects of Open Road’s theatrical distribution to its domestic territories.” Implementation is due to be completed in time for the release of Killer Elite.
