The fourth entry in the adventure series has overtaken Alice In Wonderland to stand at $695.5m and is now the fourth biggest overseas release in history.
The film’s incredible run in just one month means it has amassed $907.4m worldwide factoring in the $211.5m North American tally.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides added $8.2m overseas on Tuesday, climbing 4% from Monday.
Only three films have grossed more overseas: The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King on $742.1m, Titanic on $1.2bn and Avatar on $2.021bn.
At the worldwide box office Pirates 4 ranks as the 17th biggest release. It reached $800m globally in 20 days, one day longer than it took Fox International’s Avatar to cross the mark.
