UPDATE: IM Global’s Octane division will introduce the thriller to international buyers in Toronto. Merced Media Partners and PalmStar Media Capital are financing the Twisted Pictures presentation and Cassian Elwes represents domestic rights.

Phillippe will star as a troubled young actor on location in a small town who must plot his escape after he is abducted by thugs and driven to a shack in the middle of a swamp.

Marc Burg’s Twisted Pictures is producing Chained with Elwes.

Octane’s sales slate include two films in Midnight Madness at Toronto – Rob Zombie’s The Lords Of Salem and Barry Levinson’s The Bay.

The company is fully financing Plush, which Catherine Hardwicke is currently shooting in Los Angeles and is being produced by Jason Blum’s Blumhouse. Emily Browning, Xavier Samuel and Cam Gigandet star.
