Nick Meyer and his team have begun talks with buyers in Toronto on OddLot Entertainment, Sycamore Pictures and The Walsh Company’s The Way, Way Back marking the feature directorial debuts of Alexander Payne’s Oscar winning screenwriting partners Jim Rash and Nat Faxon.

The drama stars Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Sam Rockwell, Allison Janney, AnnaSophia Robb, Maya Rudolph, Amanda Peet, Rob Corddry, Zoe Levin and Liam James. 

Kevin Walsh produces through Walsh Company with Tom Rice of Sycamore Pictures. OddLot’s Gigi Pritzker serves as executive producer with Faxon, Rash, Sycamore’s Ben Nearn and George Parra.

The Way, Way Back centres on a vacationing teenager who befriends the manager of a water park while his mother pursues a relationship with a disingenuous suitor. Rash and Faxon’s screenplay appeared on the 2010 Black List.
