Summit Entertainment has taken Lakeshore and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment’s upcoming romantic drama off the shelf in a preemptive move heading into AFM.

Lakeshore International and Nick Meyer’s Sierra Pictures are jointly selling international rights at the market when it kicks off this week in Santa Monica.

Principal photography is scheduled to commence in March 2011 on the story of a mysteriously ageless woman who gets a chance to reclaim her mortality after she meets the man of her dreams.

Sidney Kimmel and Jim Tauber are producing alongside Lakeshore’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi and Anonymous Content’s Steve Golin and Alix Madigan.

Katherine Heigl and Nancy Heigl serve as executive producers through their production company Abishag.

Adalineis a fantastic story that we believe will resonate with the American audience,” Summit co-chairman and CEO Rob Friedman said. “We couldn’t be more excited to work with our partners at Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and look forward to bringing the film to the silver screen.”

Lakeshore and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment previously collaborated on the comedy thriller One For The Money, which also stars Heigl and will be released in 2011 through Lionsgate.
