Sundance Selects has picked up US rights to The Forgiveness Of Blood, Joshua Marston’s feature follow-up to his acclaimed Maria Full Of Grace, while Film Buff said it would release The Wild Hunt and Zonad on VoD ahead of their DVD launches.

Marston and Andamion Murataj shared the Berlin Silver Bear for best screenplay in February for The Forgiveness Of Blood, about a blood feud that ensues after an Albanian man is accused of murder. Tristan Halilaj, Sindi Lccej and Refet Abazi star.

Paul Mezey produced and Janine Gold, Eric Abraham, Domenico Procacci, Hunter Gray and Tyler Brodie served as executive producers. The film is a Fandango Portobello presentation in association with Artists Public Domain, Cinereach and Lissus Media of a Journeyman Pictures production.

Film Buff announced it will release Alexandre Franchi’s thriller The Wild Hunt and John Carney and Kiernan Carney’s Tribeca 2010 entry and sci-fi comedy Zonad on VoD several weeks ahead of their DVD release.

“In the home entertainment market, there’s no one distribution outlet that conquers all right now, and we feel strongly that when you have the right film it makes sense to treat each window and platform as an event,” Matt Dentler, head of content for FilmBuff, said. “Both of these films are great examples of work that can make a big impact on various VOD platforms, as well as with DVD stores.”
