LA-based production and sales company The G-Machine has signed a deal with digital platform GoDigital Media Group.

Content acquired by The G-Machine and GoDigital will now have access to GoDigital’s multi-platform marketing approach as well as The G-Machine’s international distribution network.

GoDigital says it reaches millions of homes in the US and Canada via iTunes, VUDU, Amazon, Netflix, YouTube Rental and Hulu.

“GoDigital is an incredibly creative and entrepreneurial company with a great appreciation for content creators, and terrific marketing skill,” The G-Machine chief content officer Chief Content Officer Ron Gell said. “This alliance will provide an opportunity for filmmakers to reach consumers and maximise revenues through both traditional and the digital distribution.”

“We’re very excited about working with The G-Machine, who has a long track record of acquiring high quality and commercial films and documentaries in the independent market with New Films and Sony,” GoDigital CEO Logan Mulvey said.

Gell and Cynthia Marquoit of The G-Machine negotiated the deal with Mulvey and GoDigital director of digital distribution Mike Rubsamen. The G-Machine’s recent titles include Peter & Vandy, On The Doll, Witch Hunt, PVC-1 and Roman.
