The Adventures Of Tintin has grossed more than $125m in two weeks in release and the family spectacle opens in India through Sony Pictures Releasing International this weekend, as well as in a host of markets through PPI.

PPI opens Tintin in Taiwan and several South-East Asian territories including Singapore.

Constantin’s The Three Musketeers crossed $100m through Summit International licensees and stands at $102.8m.

Aardman Animations first collaboration with Columbia Animation, Arthur Christmas, opens in the UK two weeks before its North American debut. Anonymous is in action in eight new markets including Germany, Spain.

The Adam Sandler comedy vehicle Jack And Jill opens day-and-date with North America in seven including Mexico.

Universal/UPI’s comedy caper Tower Heist has grossed $12.5m through UPI and breaks into around 14 including Portugal and Denmark. Relativity’s sword and sandals 3D epic Immortals launches in five markets through UPI including the UK and Switzerland.

Johnny English Reborn stands at $139.4m. Two new local titles are in action for Universal. On Ne Choisit Pas Sa Famille in France and Lezioni Di Cioccolato 2 in Italy.

Fox International has enjoyed an impressive early run with New Regency’s In Time, which stands at more than $44.5m thanks to strong debuts and solid holdover business last weekend and opens in Portugal. Still to come are Germany, Spain, France, Japan, Austria and Belgium.

“Aside from the good holds, the fact that New Regency’s In Time was second in the marketplace last weekend and this week, in its second week and in the midst of huge movies, is quite impressive and the fact that it still has many major territories to open, on its way to what looks like $100m,” New Regency evp and chief marketing officer John Hegeman said.

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes should cross $300m this weekend and has reached $296.3m. Fox International Productions’ Taiwanese hit You Are The Apple Of My Eye opens in Singapore and Malaysia. Amanha Nunca Mais opens in Brazil.

Walt Disnaey Studios Motion Pictures International’s Real Steel on $133.6m opens in China, while The Help arrives in Thailand and stands at $23.4m. The Lion King 3D is on $53.8m and arrives in Germany, Italy and Austria.
