Tribeca Film plans a summer release for the Abigail Breslin road movie after negotiating a US deal with Unified Pictures.

The film launched in Toronto last autumn and also stars Alessandro Nivola, Elisabeth Shue and Brittany Snow in the story of a father and daughter who reconnect through music. David M Rosenthal wrote and directed the piece and Eric Basset produced with Unified Pictures head Keith Kjarval

Tribeca will stage a theatrical release in multiple US markets as well as on VOD and other platforms in the summer.

Tribeca Film director of acquisitions Nick Savva negotiated the deal with Kjarval and CAA.
