The Weinstein Company will distribute Nicole Kidman starrer Grace Of Monaco in limited release in the US on Dec 27, positioning the film for an awards season play.
The company on Monday  confirmed reports it had acquired US rights to the Grace Kelly biopic directed by Olivier Dahan.
Tim Roth plays the protagonist’s husband Prince Rainier of Monaco and the cast includes Milo Ventimiglia, Frank Langella, Parker Posey, Paz Vega and Derek Jacobi. Arash Amel wrote the screenplay.
Pierre-Ange Le Pogam of Stone Angels produced with YRF Entertainment’s Amel and Uday Chopra.
Le Pogam closed the deal with TWC COO David Glasser and Michal Steinberg in Los Angeles.
Inferno Entertainment handles international sales.
