The distributor has acquired all North American rights to The Front Line from director Jang Hun.

A blockbuster in South Korea this year, The Front Line depicts the struggle between North and South to establish the border at the end of the 1950s civil war. Shin Ha-kyun, Ko Soo and Kim Ok-bin star.

Well Go negotiated rights from Showbox / Mediaplex and plans a January theatrical release.

“Our mission is to bring the best in Asian film to the North American market and The Front Line is a perfect fit with our goals,” Well Go president Doris Pfardrescher said.
