Melbourne-based DND Productions has changed its name to Instinct Entertainment as it gears up to start production on Till Human Voices Wake Us, set to star Helena Bonham Carter and Guy Pearce.

Human Voices is the first directorial effort of writer Michael Petroni who won the best new script award for the project from the Writers Guild of America/Scenario Magazine. He has also written Warner Bros' Queen Of The Damned, based on the third book in Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles which Michael Rymer is set to direct in Australia.

DND, founded by directors David Redman, Nigel Odell and Dean Murphy, is also developing Cut Off, which writer-director Eric Manchester is scheduled to shoot in Los Angeles in October, and Love Prophets, to be directed by Murphy with Melbourne doubling for Boston.

Tomorrow Films Corp is selling Human Voices at the major film markets. Key Entertainment is an investor alongside the Australian Film Finance Corporation and Film Victoria. Globe is handling Australian distribution.
