The picture focuses on anelectoral race in the Kentucky town of Rabbit Hash that returned an actual dog named Goofy as townmayor.

The filmmakers profile thetown's human inhabitants and several local luminaries, including nearbyresident and country and western star Wynonna Judd.

Pret's picture is styled aspart political satire and part fundraiser, with a portion of profits earmarkedfor the renovation of a local church.

Newmark/EchelonEntertainment Group plans an autumn release before or around the time of thePresidential Election on Nov 2.

Los Angeles-based Echelon holdsworldwide rights to the picture, which was produced by Prest, Chris Carringtonand Dave Thies.
