Canadian director Atom Egoyan will be honoured with a retrospective at the 8th Cinema Tout Ecran International Film and Television Festival in Geneva (October 21-27) which showcases feature films produced by or for television.

Meanwhile, among the films already confirmed for this year's International Competition are Willem van de S. Bakhuyzen's gripping account of the fall of Srebenica The Enclave (Neth), Xin Lee's urban romance Dazzling (China), Henner Winckler's coming-of-age story Klassenfahrt, Bruno Nuytten's Jim La Nuit (France), Aoyama Shinji's Mike Yokohama: A Forest With No Name (Japan) and Gael Morel's Les Chemins De L'Oued (France).

Past winners of this Competition were Egoyan's Gross Misconduct, Michael Apted's Always Outnumbered, Robert Guediguian's Marius Et Jeanette and Arturo Ripstein's Asi Es la Vida.

In addition, 'out of competition' screenings have been lined up of the latest television work by Agnieszka Holland (Shot In The Heart) and John Badham (Brother's Keeper) as well as a special Swiss avant-premiere of Amos Gitai's Kedma and a celebration of 50 years in broadcasting by the French and English-speaking TV channels CBC and Radio Canada.
