Europa Cinemas will again present its label prize to the best European film in the Panorama section of the Berlinale.
This will be the prize's third year in Berlin, in addition to Europa Cinemas awards in Cannes, Venice and Karlovy Vary.
This year's jury includes four Europa Cinemas exhibitors. They are Stas Ravter from Slovenia's Kindovar and Slovenian Cinematheque, Georgette Ranucci from Italy's Alcazar cinema, Michal Drobny from the Czech Republic's Continental Film and Christian Schmalz from Germany's Off Broadway Kino.
The winner will get extended exhibition and promotion through the Europa Cinemas network, which includes 690 cinemas in 55 countries. Last year's prize winners was Detlev Buck's Tough Enough (Knallhart).
