Exhibitionveteran William B Doeren has been named vice president of the KodakEntertainment Imaging division and general manager of Kodak Digital Cinemagroup.

He replacesRobert J Mayson, who is moving into a full-time role as vice president andgeneral manager of Image Origination Products in the same Kodak division.

In a statementEric G Rodli, president of Kodak Entertainment Imaging division, highlightedDoeren's wide experience, adding: 'Bill is the right leader for ourambitious programme.'

Doeren workedclosely with the team currently marketing the Kodak Digital Cinema OperatingSystem, a networked application that is initially intended for pre-show use byexhibitors.

Doeren has heldsenior management roles at AMC Entertainment, MGM International Cinema Group andGeneral Cinema Theatres.
