Yeniffer Fasciani

Sales manager, FeelSales

  • Graduated from Valparaiso University in Chile in 2010 with a degree in production
  • Earned a masters degree in business and film distribution from Ibermedia and ECAM in 2022

A 2015 Berlinale Talents and 2017 Locarno Industry Academy alumna, Chile-born Fasciani began her career producing films in Chile at Niebla Productions, working on titles including Carolina Quezada’s Perros Sin Cola and Ignacio Ruiz’s Green Grass. She later co-founded DCI Distribucion, an independent theatrical distributor operating in Santiago from 2016-21, which predominantly released titles from edgy young filmmakers including Omar Zuniga’s The Strong Ones and Alejandro Fadel’s Murder Me, Monster. After that, Fasciani relocated to Madrid for further training at ECAM.

“I’ve learned the industry is always evolving and there’s no formula for success — what worked once rarely works again,” says Fasciani, who joined FeelSales as sales manager in 2023. “The key is adapting and finding each film’s place in the market. It’s not easy and often frustrating, but passion and persistence keep us going.”

Some of the recent titles that Fasciani has handled at Madrid-based FeelSales (founded by Luis Collar in 2012 and part of The Circular Group, which also has production, distribution and talent management divisions) are Mariana Rondon’s 2024 San Sebastian premiere Zafari, Mario Hernandez’s Truce(s) and Jordi Nuñez’s Valenciana.

Fasciani notes most buyers remain conservative. “They want safe bets — recognisable cast, award-winning directors, A-list festivals — which makes competition fierce,” she says.

“To secure such films, many now get involved early on, which means we in sales must also engage from the start, balancing indie and commercial projects to stay competitive.”
