French outfit Les Films Du Losange has closed a deal to take worldwide sales on Sweet Rush (Tatarak), the latest feature from venerable Polish auteur Andrzej Wajda which screens in competition on Friday.

Les Films Du Losange will also be releasing the film in France through its distribution arm.

Meanwhile, buzzed about festival title, Swedish Forum entry Burrowing, has been dug up for international sales by French sales outfit Wide Management.

Producer Erika Wasserman, of Stockholm-based Fasad AB, confirmed that the the film, warmly received after its initial Berlin screenings, has also been invited to several other festivals, among them the Viennale, Warsaw,Turin and London.

Earlier this week, NonStop Entertainment came on board to distribute Burrowing in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and the Baltic countries. Wide will be handling other international rights

Sweet Rush re-unites Wajda with actress Krystyna Janda (Man Of Marble); Wajda won the Golden Bear for lifetime achievement in 2006 and was in competition last year for Katyn which was also Oscar-nominated for best foreign language film.

Burrowing, directed by newcomers Henrik Hellstrom and Fredrik Wenzel, is about a young boy spying on his neighbours.
