Devour! The Food Film Fest, based in Nova Scotia, is now expanding with a Bahamas event.
Executive Director Michael Howell and Managing Director Lia Rinaldo announced the news that the food and wine film festival will expand with Devour! The Beach, Green Turtle Cay, Abacos from March 26-29.
The line-up will include celebrity chefs from Chicago, Las Vegas, Cleveland, Dallas, Ottawa and Halifax’s Craig Flinn of Chives and Two Doors Down.
“The culinary traveller has increasingly been identified as a key contributor to building and sustaining global tourism,” said Howell. “The expansion of Devour! into The Bahamas has the advantage of promoting tourism and economic partnerships between our two regions.”
“The combination of food and film is a powerful recipe,” added Rinaldo. “Transported by taste, the culinary traveller is willing to both travel great distances for the luxury to eat food prepared by well-known personalities. Based on the success of Devour! in Wolfville, we are thrilled to take this brand to The Bahamas.”
