Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) and ScreenSingapore 2013 have announced a four-day conference line-up including a spotlight on the Asian film industry, master classes and workshops.

The jointly held ATF & ScreenSingapore will run Dec 3-6 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.

ScreenSingapore’s panels will include one on film financing in Southeast Asia. As investors/financiers from North Asia, Nikkatsu producer Shinjiro Nishimura of Japan and CJ Entertainment vice president of International Film Financing and Production Choi Yeonu of South Korea will speak about their plans for the region.

The “Making Films in China for the China Market and Beyond” panel will deal with subjects such as script development, financing and production management, as well as marketing and distribution.

ScreenSingapore will also hold sessions with Anthony Chen [pictured], director of Cannes Camera d’Or winner Ilo Ilo, and Shekhar Kapur, director of the Oscar-winning Elizabeth.

ATF’s conferences will deal with the evolution of TV content with sessions including one showcasing Asia’s version of ad-supported on-demand video streaming with South Korea’s SK Planet head of Business Content Module Tommy Lee speaking, and a panel of the region’s most important documentary commissioners speaking about their acquisitions plans and collaborations with production companies.

This year, ATF will also launch MIPAcademy, a day-long programme of masterclasses and workshops with details to be announced next week at MIPCOM.
