FilmSharks has picked up international sales on Death Fearless (working title) starring Mexican Oscar nominee Demian Bichir.

Matias Gueilburt will direct the $4m story of two brothers who put their lives on the line in the Mexican underwold.

FilmSharks is showing a promo of Carlos Saura’s Guernica 33 (aka 33 Dias) starring Antonio Banderas and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Los Angeles-based senior acquisitions executive Roxy Kohan brought the film to FilmSharks.

The EFM slate includes Eduardo Rossof’s thriller Let Me Survive, about a French woman who escapes from a boat disaster while on holiday in Africa. Kierston Wareing and Craig Fairbrass star.

“We are after crossover crowd-pleasers with international talent attached for focused audiences that can be clearly marketed and released and because of this they can be pre-sold before the film is completed,” said Kohan.
