The international critics federation FIPRESCI will award a prize for the first time this year at Geneva's Cinema Tout Ecran's Festival (November 3-9).

The festival's International Competition of 13 films from 12 countries will include world premieres of Pu Sheng's The Pure Land (Jing Tu) and Emmanuel Bourdieu's Cadets De Gascogne (Vert Paradis) as well as Eytan Fox's Yossi & Jagger and Goran Rebic's Donau, Dunaj, Duna, Dunay, Dunarea.

Veteran producer-director Ismail Merchant will preside over the International Jury. The jury will include Franco-Swiss director Ursula Meier, Belgian producer Ives Swennen and Turkish actress Serra Yilmaz, who will decide on the City of Geneva's Grand Prixs for Best Film and Best Direction as well as awards for Best Actor and Best Actress.
