First RunFeatures has acquired domestic rights to Bob Hercules and Cheri Pugh's ForgivingDr Mengele and plans a2006 theatrical and DVD release.

The documentary charts the extraordinary spirit ofreconciliation adopted by Auschwitz survivor Eva Mozes Kor, who was one of thevictims of the Nazi doctor's brutal medical experiments.

Hercules is anindependent filmmaker whp previously made The Democratic Promise: SaulAlinsky & His Legacy in1999.

Pugh is a modern Europeanhistory graduate from Northwestern University who has conducted extensiveresearch on the Third Reich, World War II and the Holocaust.
