Avi Lerner's Millenium Filmsand Randall Emmett and George Furla's Emmett/Furla Films have unveiled theirlatest picture 88 Minutes, a contemporary thriller to be directed byJames Foley with his Glengarry Glen Ross star Al Pacino attached tostar.

Scripted by Gary ScottThompson (The Fast And The Furious), the film is budgeted at under $30mand is scheduled to shoot in Sept in Vancouver.

Pacino will play a collegeprofessor who moonlights as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI and receives adeath threat claiming that he has only 88 minutes to live. In order to save hisown life, he has to narrow down the suspects who include a disgruntled student,a jilted former lover and a serial killer on death row.

Producers are Lerner,Emmett, Furla and Scott Thompson, with Danny Dimbort, Boaz Davidson, TrevorShort, Lawrence Bender and John Baldecchi as executive producers.

88 Minutes is the second film in a recently renewednon-exclusive production finance agreement between Emmett/Furla and Milleniumafter The Contract which has Bruce Beresford attached to direct. The twocompanies recently wrapped production on the thriller Edison starringJustin Timberlake, Morgan Freeman, LL Cool J and Kevin Spacey.

Emmett/Furla was representedin the deal by William Morris Agency and David Feldman of Bloom Hergott &Diemer.
