Myriad Pictures hasmade two key hires, naming Kevin Forester vice president of finance andcontroller and Craig Kessler vice president of business and legal affairs.

Both appointments are effective immediately and the executives will report toMyriad president and chief executive officer Kirk D'Amico.

Forester joins Myriad following an 11-year tenure at The Bubble Factory, wherehe held the position of vice president of finance and operations.

In his new position at Myriad, he will oversee the day-to-day financial andadministrative functions of the company including accounting, billing,information technology and human resources.

Kessler most recently served as vice president of business affairs at New FilmsInternational, and prior to that worked for Doug Liman at Hypnotic and servedat the Edward R Pressman Film Corporation.

He will handle all aspects of legal and business affairs for film financing,production and distribution agreements for Myriad.

Among the company's upcoming projects are: the Houdini drama Death DefyingActs starring Catherine Zeta-Jonesand Guy Pearce; the science drama Dark Matter starring Meryl Streep and Aidan Quinn; comedy 10Items Or Less starring MorganFreeman and Paz Vega; and the Edie Sedgwick biopic Factory Girl, which stars Sienna Miller and Guy Pearce.
