Industry veteran Karen Roberts has joined LosAngeles-based production and international sales company Dream Entertainment assenior vice president of acquisitions and development.
Roberts will beresponsible for identifying finished features as well as new projects forDream's development slate. She will report directly to company presidentYitzhak Ginsberg.
Roberts mostrecently served as senior vice president of acquisitions and development forMyriad Pictures where her duties included literary development.
Prior to thatshe was senior vice president at J&M Entertainment, heading the company'sLos Angeles office and overseeing development, production, marketing,acquisitions and worldwide sales of filmed product in all media. Her J&Mcredits include The General, What's Eating Gilbert Grape and The Road To Wellville.
Dream hasdeveloped, funded and produced 13 feature films since it was founded by EhudBleiberg and Ginsberg in 1994 and is currently in production on the stop-motionfeature Disaster!.
