Sidney Kimmel has announcedthat former Miramax International executives Jill Silfen and Joan Andres willjoin Kimmel International under their former Miramax colleague Mark Lindsay whois president of the division.

Jill Silfen has joined assenior vice president of business and legal affairs and Joan Andres has beennamed manager of sales and administration.

Based in Sidney KimmelEntertainment's new offices in New York, both will report directly to Lindsay.

Silfen, who previouslyserved as Miramax International senior vice president, will negotiate andimplement distribution license agreements for all Kimmel Internationalproperties, while Andres, a former executive assistant at MiramaxInternational, will assist in building the new division.

Silfen oversaw MiramaxInternational's legal affairs after she joined Miramax as vice president ofinternational business and legal affairs. Prior to that she served 10 years atvarious California law firms and was outside counsel for MGM and UnitedArtists, among others.

Andres previously served asexecutive assistant at Miramax and provided support to Lindsay and the vicepresident of international distribution and sales.
