Fortissimo Films hasexpanded its library of TV rights by acquiring the five-film catalogue of NewYork-based production company Hart Sharp Entertainment.

Titles covered by the dealinclude films such as Dark Harbour, directed by Adam Coleman Howard; Lift,from DeMane Davis and Khari Streeter; and award-winning You Can Count On Meby Kenneth Lonergan.

Fortissimo, whichestablished a TV sales division earlier this year headed by Esther Bannenberg,plans to launch the titles at the upcoming Mipcom TV market in Cannes (Oct 17-21).

The company's library alsofeatures the Jim Jarmusch back catalogue, including Stranger Than Paradise and Down By Law, andthe Killer Films Collection, including Todd Haynes' Poison.

The deal grew fromFortissimo's existing relationship with Hart Sharp as it previously picked upinternational rights to two titles from the company - Dylan Kidd's PSand The Night Listener which is currently in post-production.
