Fortissimo Filmshas acquired all international rights to Morgan Spurlock's hit Sundancedocumentary Super Size Me and will represent the picture at next week's AFM.

"We are thrilledto be working with this creative and talented new director to bring SuperSize Me to the world,"Fortissimo co-chairman Michael J Werner said in a statement.

"Morgan Spurlockhas created an important, eye-opening film that will also be a crowd pleaser atfestivals and cinemas around the world."

The deal wasnegotiated by Spurlock, Cinetic's John Sloss and Fortissimo co-chairmen WouterBarendrecht and Werner.

Fortissimo willarrange private screenings at AFM before a wider global launch at an internationalfilm festival later in the year.

The picture,which charts Spurlock's attempt to eat nothing but McDonald's food for a month,has already been picked up for the US by Roadside Attractions and distributionpartner Samuel Goldwyn Films for theatrical and home video and by A&E forTV.

In addition, pre-saleswere made at Berlin by Cinetic Media to Australia's Dendy Films and the UK'sTartan Films.
