Twentieth Century Fox and On Demand Group have signed a multi-year pay-per-view deal to provide content to Germany's largest cable operator Kabel Deutschland. Titles include X-Men: The Last Stand, Walk The Line, and Ice Age: The Meltdown.

The agreement was announced jointly by Jamie McCabe, executive vice president, PPV, VOD, and EST at Twentieth Century Fox, and On Demand Group chief executive officer Tony Kelly.

'Fox is excited to extend its current relationship with On Demand Group into Germany by making Fox movies available to Kabel Deutschland subscribers', McCabe said.

'This deal is another milestone in the development of the Pay per View service, Select Kino and we look forward to the enriched partnership with the On Demand Group,' Florian Landgraf, director of content and product management at Kabel Deutschland, said. 'Our digital cable customers can look forward to having even more blockbuster movies at their finger tips.'

'Working in partnership with Twentieth Century Fox and KDG has allowed us to develop and quickly bring to market the CineExpress service - a compelling entertainment brand that sets the standard for pay-per-view movie service,' Kelly said. 'This deal is a close fit with our strategic direction as we look to expand our business into new global markets.'
