The DevilWears Prada was a biggeroverseas hit at the weekend than originally thought and grossed $19.4maccording to revised figures from Fox International.

Thecomedy debuted in three major territories and took $2.7m in France, $2.3m inRussia, and $6.1m in the UK as previously reported. The international runningtotal currently stands at $42.2m.

SummitEntertainment/Constantin's murder drama Perfume added $7.6m from approximately 1,986screens in eight markets and has already amassed $58.5m.

The film ranked number two in Germany, taking $4m for a total of $36.3m, $4.4m in Austria, and $2.8m in Switzerland, where the film has stayed top for four consecutive weekends.

The dance drama StepUp took $2.8m from 418screens in Summit and Universal territories and stands at $10.3m. It produced a$1m German debut from 220 screens and ranked fourth.

Crimedrama The Departed launched in four InitialEntertainment Group markets and one Warner Bros Pictures International (WBPI)market, grossing $6.4m.

The Initial openingsincluded a robust second place $4.3m debut in the UK from 363 sites throughEntertainment Film Distributors, approximately $870,000 from Russia, $488,000including previews for first place in Taiwan, and $498,500 from 34 prints in HongKong for second place.

WBPI opened TheDeparted at number onein the Philippines on $214,000 from 35 prints.

Elsewhere WBPI'sThe Ant Bully added$2m from 1,500 prints in 45 markets for $23m, powered by a $386,000 Russianlaunch in fifth place on 143 prints.

Lady In TheWater added $1m from 940prints in 39 markets for $27m, and The Lake House raised its international tally by$917,000 from 545 prints in 33 markets to $59m.
