Thank You For Smoking has amassed $7.3m and launches in Japan on Oct 13. My SuperEx-Girlfriend has nomajor releases this weekend and stands at $30.3m.

Paramount Classics' An Inconvenient Truth opens in eight territories through UIPthis weekend as the distributor seeks to boost the eco-doc's early $4.1moverseas tally.

The highlights are expected to be France on Oct 11, Germany on Oct12, and Taiwan on Oct 14.

Paramount's 9/11 drama World Trade Center opens in eight territories includingItaly and South Korea on Oct 13. It has grossed just over $40m. The realitycomedy Jackass: Number Two opens in Russia on Oct 12.

Universal's comedy You, Me And Dupree opens in three territories through UIPincluding Spain on Oct 11, and stands at $42.7m. The musical Idlewild opens in the UK on Oct 13.

Miami Vicestands at $91.4m, The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift has reached $94.2m, and United 93 has grossed $38.3m.

Sony Pictures Releasing International (SPRI) has a smattering ofopenings this weekend. Click has been the company's strongest performer of recent weeks andcontinued strong holds should see the comedy pull towards $80m this weekend.The current tally is $73.1m.

The animated picture Open Season goes out in the UK and Mexico on Oct 13 andhas taken $3.9m from the early stages of release.

Comedy Talladega Nights roars out of the blocks in Germany on Oct 13 and stands at$11.9m, while the animated feature Monster House opens in Italy on Oct 13 and has grossed$57.2m to date. Little Man has amassed $36.9m.

Buena Vista International's (BVI) global blockbuster Pirates OfThe Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is in the throes of winding down but it will remain a fixture onthe international circuit for a while yet and currently stands at $635.8m.

The Pixar release Cars has taken $208.6m. BVI's Coast Guard adventure The Guardian opens in Spain on Oct 13 and is in theearly stages of release.

Warner Bros Pictures International has no major releases plannedfor any of its active pictures. Latest totals put The Ant Bully on $23m, Lady In The Water on $27m, and The Lake House on $59m including Roadshow territories.
