London based visual effects, animation and post production house Framestore CFC is to open a New York office devoted to its advertising clients.

The new venture will be led by Framestore CFC Board member and advertising head, Jon Collins as its managing director.

Framestore CFC are currently in production on three major feature films: Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban, Helen Of Troy starring Brad Pitt, and Thunderbirds.

William Sargent, CEO of Framestore CFC told ScreenDaily.com that the company had a had an increasing amount of contact with US agencies in New York and Chicago in recent years.

The company's ads include Xbox's Mosquito, Levis Odyssey, and Chrysler's Golden Gate,
