Canada's Bogeydom Enterprises has picked up North American and European rights to action title Cyborg She, directed by Korea's Kwak Jae-young, from Japan's Gaga Films.

Gaga has already sealed a raft of Asian deals on the film which has gone to Intercontinental for Hong Kong, Sahamongkol for Thailand, Serenity Entertainment for Taiwan and Scorpio East for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei.

The CGI-heavy film tells the story of a young man, played by Keisuke Koide (First Love), who falls for an emotionless cyborg (Haruka Ayase) who rescues him from an earthquake. Kwak's credits include pan-Asian hits My Sassy Girl and Windstruck.

Gaga also recently closed several deals on Shaolin Girl, produced by Stephen Chow and Chihiro Kameyama, which went to Edko Films in Hong Kong and Thailand's Sahamongkolfilm among other territories.

The company also has two market premiere at Cannes - Yukio Ninagawa's Snakes And Earrings, based on a controversial novel, and Climber's High, directed by Masao Harada (Inugami) about a reporter covering the 1985 crash of a Japan Airlines flight which was one of the worst air disasters in history.
