Martin Gaiss has beenpromoted to director of publicity at Fox International, where he will continueto devise and implement strategy and events and develop his responsibilities innew media and creative online publicity.

Gaiss, whose campaigncredits include Titanic, The Full Monty, the X-Men franchise andthe upcoming The Day After Tomorrow,is based in Los Angeles and will continue to report to senior vice president ofpublicity Hilary Clark.

He joined the distributor asa Paris-based press attache in 1995 and transferred to Los Angeles in January1998, rising to senior publicist in 1999 and associate director in 2002.

Gaiss began his career asinternational publicity coordinator at Buena Vista International's Parisheadquarters in 1993.
