The Second Annual Gen Art Chicago Film Festival will open in Chicago on June 23 with Plum Pictures' comedy Bart Got A Room starring William H Macy and Cheryl Hines.

Brian Hecker's film was one of the more popular entries at Tribeca, where it received its world premiere in April, and charts the comical course of events as a high school student tries to find a date for Prom Night. Steven Kaplan plays the lead.

Other entries include Sol Tryon's 2007 comedy The Living Wake and Amitabh Klemm's thriller The Art Of Stalking and Goeffrey Haley's romantic comedy The Last Word.

The event runs until June 27 and for further information visit www.genart.org.
