The seventh edition of German Currents, the annual celebration of German cinema, will run in Los Angeles from Oct 4-7.

The Goethe-Institut Los Angeles and the American Cinematheque present the event, which will feature current German features, documentaries and short films, as well as a family/youth film.

German Currents 2013 will also present cinema from Austria and Switzerland. 

Festival organisers will announce the opening night feature and the programme in the coming months.
