Germansales companies are busy adding new titles to their sales lineupsa week before the beginning of this year's Cannes Market.

Inaddition to the previously announced HeartOf Fire, Beta Cinema has taken on another sevennew titles for its Cannes slate.

Thislineup is headed by the international market premieres of FlorianHenckel von Donnersmarck'sthriller The Lives Of Others, a localbox-office hit which has been nominated for 11 German Film Awards,Hans Steinbichler's drama WinterJourney, starring Head On's Sibel Kekilli and Lili Marleen's Hanna Schygulla,and Eoin Moore's comedy set in a Berlin sauna, No Sweat.

Betawill also use the Cannes market to show promoreels from Florian Baxmeyer'sEnglish-language family entertainment film TheThree Investigators and the Secret Of Skeleton Island,Stefan Ruzowitzky's concentration camp drama The Counterfeiter, Martin Gypkens' globetrotting road movie Nothing But Ghosts, and Simon Gross' Morocco-set thriller Fata Morgana starringMatthias Schweighoefer, Marie Zielckeand Jean-Hugues Anglade.

Meanwhile,Telepool's sales roster now includes Ute Wieland's comedy FCVenus - Women With Balls, which was seen by morethan 100,000 cinema-goers in its first week of release on 250 prints from April27, and the Estonian family film Ruudi, directed by Katrin Laur, which has become the third most successful Estonianfilm of the past 15 years.

Moreover,mdc international has just acquired internationaldistribution rights for the first home-grown Ukrainian horror thriller The Pit (Shtolnya).
