Gold Circle Films has optioned English-language remake rights fromCentral Partnership to Dead Daughters based on Pavel Ruminov's upcoming Russian horror picture.

Gold Circle chief Paul Brooks will produce the story of a crazedwoman who sparks a chain of supernatural vengeance after she kills her three daughters.

Scott Niemeyer and Norm Waittwill serve as executive producers and Gold Circle's vice president ofproduction Zak Kadison is co-producing.

Kadison negotiated the deal with Central Partnership's vicepresident of international sales and co-production Armen Dishdishyan.

Gold Circle is currently in post-production on three projects:Rogue Pictures will distribute White Noise 2 starring Nathan Fillion and KateeSackoff; and later this year Universal Pictures will release both Because ISaid So, starring Diane Keatonand Mandy Moore, and Whisper, which stars Josh Holloway.

Central Partnership will release the original Russian-languageversion of Dead Daughters in the CIS on Aug 31.
