The US premieres of Petter Naess's Norwegian romantic comedy Gone With The Woman and Uwe Boll's video game adaptation Postal bookend the 11th Annual Hollywood Film Festival, set to take place in Los Angeles from Oct 17-22.

Barry Gray's Bloodsucking Cinema, Steven Sawalich's Music Within, James Franco's Good Time Max, Charles Oliver's Take, Stephen Eckelberry's The Mirror, and Amir Mann's The Fifth Patient are the Centrepiece Gala screenings.

Nominees for the Screen International Hollywood World Award, to be handed out on Oct 22, are Cristian Mungiu's 4 Months, 3 Weeks And 2 Days from Romania; Aleksandr Sokurov's Russian drama Alexandra; Eran Kolirin's Israeli film The Band's Visit; Anton Corbijn's UK drama Control; Julian Schnabel's The Diving Bell And The Butterfly from France; Fatih Akin's Germany-Turkey drama The Edge Of Heaven; Ulrich Seidl's Austrian film Import/Export; Vincent Paronnaud and Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis from France; Lee Chang-dong's South Korean Secret Sunshine; and Carlos Reygadas' Silent Light from Mexico.

Hollywood Movie Of The Year Awards nominees to be chosen by the public are: 300 directed by Zack Snyder; Paul Greengrass' The Bourne Ultimatum; Hairspray by Adam Shankman; Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix directed by David Yates; Ocean's Thirteen by Steven Soderbergh; Ratatouille by Brad Bird; Chris Miller's Shrek The Third; The Simpsons Movie directed by David Silverman; Spider-Man 3 by Sam Raimi; and Michael Bay's Transformers.

This year the festival is also presenting the Hollywood Horror, Sci-Fi and Fantasy Festival showcase from Oct 19-21.
