Jon Gordon (pictured) will join Donna Langley as president ofproduction at Universal Pictures.

The two executives will work side-by-side overseeing developmentand production of the slate, and both will report to studio chairman StaceySnider.

Gordon will assume his new post in October once he completesduties as Miramax co-president of production.

"By maintaining our production group's cohesion and momentumover the past few months, Donna has demonstrated her trademark sophisticationand leadership," Snider said.

"She has helped supervise our current projects and has assembledan upcoming line-up that is among our most distinguished and diversified ever.

Gordon joined Miramax as an intern in 1990 and two years laterbegan working as assistant to Harvey Weinstein. He was named director ofproduction in 1995 and rose steadily through the ranks to his current post.

His credits include Flirting With Disaster, Dogma, Good WillHunting, Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind, and the upcoming The Brothers Grimm and Derailed.
