Hawaii Film Partners will begin principal photography on March 16 in Hawaii on the romantic adventure You May Not Kiss The Bride.
Set in Chicago and Tahiti, the picture stars Dave Annable, Mena Suvari, Katharine McPhee, Vinnie Jones, Tia Carrere and Ken Davitian.
Annable plays a Chicago pet photographer who accidentally maims the cat of a Croatian mobster's wife and is forced to marry their daughter Masha to keep her in the country.
Rob Hedden is directing from his original screenplay and Hawaii Film Partners co-founders Rann and Gina Watumull and David Jackson and Shauna Shapiro Jackson are producing.
'We were looking for just the right screenplay for Hawaii Film Partners' next project, and when we could not find it, we decided to help create it,' theproducers said.
'We met Rob Hedden and felt he had a writing style that was unique and fit with what we wanted to create. We spent almost a year working with Rob on the story premise and drafts of the script.'
