The non-profit Heartland Truly Moving Pictures has announced its top ten ‘Moving Pictures’ of 2009 chosen from the 22 films that were bestowed with the Heartland Truly Moving Picture Award in 2009.
The selections in order are The Blind Side; Invictus; The Horse Boy; Up; The Cove; Herb & Dorothy; The Soloist; The Boys Are Back; My Sister’s Keeper; and Amreeka.
“This is the first time we have developed a ‘top ten’ list for our Truly Moving Picture Award winners,” Heartland Truly Moving Pictures CEO Jeffrey L Sparks, said. “We felt it was important to honour these standout films and those who created them, and for their great contribution to the film community in 2009.”
