The world premiere of Eliseo Subiela's Heartlift (Lifting De Corazon) will open the 23rd Annual MiamiInternational Film Festival, which closes with the East Coast premiere ofNicole Holofcener's Sundance opener Friends With Money.

All in all 92 features including 10 world premieres will screen atthe event, which runs from Mar 3-12 and introduces three new Knight Grand JuryPrizes following a $250,000 gift from the John S and James L Knight Foundation.

Prizes will be awarded for best dramatic feature in the WorldCinema Competition, best dramatic feature in the Ibero-American CinemaCompetition, and best documentary feature from the World & Ibero-AmericanCinema Competition.

Other screenings include Jason Reitman's Thank You For Smoking, Andy Garcia's The Lost City, The Dardenne Brothers' Palme d'Orwinner The Child (L'Enfant), Gavin Hood's South African Oscarsubmission Tsotsi,and Claudia Llosa's Madeinusa.

As previously announced, Wim Wenders will receive the CareerAchievement Tribute and there will be a screening of his latest work, Don'tCome Knocking.
