The producers of Dutch hit and Oscar candidate Twin Sisters, IdtV, have appointed High Point Films to handle international sales - excluding Benelux - on their thriller Godforsaken.

Also produced by Reiner Selen of Rinkel Film, Godforsaken is directed by first time director Peter Kuijpers and has been chosen for the New Directors section at the upcoming San Sebastian Film Festival.

The film - inspired by a real life case of young petty criminals turning to violent crime - opened in second place in Benelux in the box office charts earlier this year.

High Point will be screening Godforsaken at the upcoming MIFED Film Market in Milan.
