UK distributor High Point Media Group has signed a deal with Renown Pictures to distribute its libraryof British films. Highpoint’s TV division will handle the catalogue.

It includes classic titles such as Brian Desmond Hurst’s Scrooge and the Academy Award nominated Noel Langley’s The Pickwick Papers. The Renown library also contains a number of cult classics including Henry Cass’ Blood of the Vampire.

The deal was negotiated between Noel Cronin, managing director of Renown Pictures and High Point director Julie Delaney.

High Point managing director Carey Fitzgerald described the library as a “a treasure trove of British film gems”.
