Janet Hill (pictured) is leaving herjob as MTV Networks' senior vice president of West Coast CorporateCommunications for the new post of executive vice president of corporatecommunications at Paramount Pictures.

Based in Los Angeles andreporting to Paramount chairman Brad Grey, Hill will oversee internal andexternal business and media communications and public relations for thecompany.

In addition to working withGrey, Paramount president Gail Berman and the studio's executive team, Hillwill also work closely with executive vice president of worldwide publicity NancyKirkpatrick and her team.

Kirkpatrick will continue tohandle day-to-day feature publicity operations for Paramount Pictures,reporting directly to president of worldwide marketing Gerry Rich.

"As we continue to reinventthe studio and work to improve the culture, Janet will play a key role for us,"Grey said.

"She brings tremendouscommunications experience from MTV Networks and her many years in the filmindustry, along with a track record of successes and strong leadership skillsto this new role."

At MTV Networks Hill shemanaged all internal and external communications, including business, trade,and consumer publicity.

Prior to that she served asexecutive vice president of publicity for Miramax, where she worked for eightyears on such campaigns as Pulp Fiction, The English Patient, Shakespeare InLove and Scream, among others.

She was a partner in Yorke& Hill Public relations before joining Miramax in 1994 and began her careerat Tri-Star Pictures in New York.
