BestHollywood has acquired distribution rights in Hungary to English-languagedocumentary Freedom's Fury, which had its world premiere last week at theTribeca Film Festival.

Thefilm, which looks at the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 and the politicized waterpolo match between Hungary and the USSR at that year's Melbourne Olympics,will be released in Hungary on Sept 7 this year to coincide with the 50thanniversary of the revolution.

Directorsof Freedom's Fury are Colin Keith Gray and Megan Raney Aarons, the writing/directingteam known as the SIBS (pictured above). Kristine Lacey of WOLO Entertainmentproduced, with Lucy Liu, Amy Sommer, Quentin Tarantino and Andrew G Vajna onboard as executive producers. Olympic gold-medallist Mark Spitz narrates thefilm.

Vajnais currently in Budapest in production on a large-scale fictionalized featureof the same story called Children Of Glory scripted by Joe Eszterhas and directed byKrisztina Goda. The Hungarian/UK co-production is scheduled to open in Hungaryon Oct 23.
