FrederickHuntsberry has been named interim president and chief operating officer atUniversal Pictures while Rick Finkelstein takes an undetermined leave ofabsence after sustaining injuries in a recent skiing accident.

Huntsberry willreport to Universal chairman Stacey Snider and continues to oversee NBCUniversal Television Distribution in his role as executive vice president,reporting jointly to Snider and Jeff Zucker, president of NBC Universal TelevisionGroup.

He willsurrender his duties as chief financial officer of NBC Universal TelevisionGroup to Andy Warren, senior vice president and chief financial officer ofTelevision Studios, Distribution and International Channels, and Howard Averill,senior vice president and chief financial officer of NBC UniversalEntertainment Televison.

In addition totheir current responsibilities, Warren will also oversee financial activitiesfor CNBC, while Averill will oversee financial activities for NBC News andMSNBC.

Huntsberrypreviously served as chief financial officer of Vivendi UniversalEntertainment, and prior to that was chief financial officer for UniversalPictures.
